ROPES END

In 1692, 20 people were executed in Salem, Mass. Today, this tragedy is exploited by a tourist industry known as "witch kitsch". Ghost tours, souvenir shops, and fortune tellers run rampant and many locals are at their ROPES END.

This non-profit educational organization raises awareness about the exploitation of the Salem Witch Trials. It is the first and only organization actively protecting the memory of those executed in 1692.
